15cm plate hanagaki | Tosai gama - Nagato seitojyo
The adorable hanagaki's character is drawn around the depression in the typical technique "with dyeing" of the cute tobe ware that is smiling, referring to the old
tobe's character in the Edo period. The style that the taste of the good old days is well fused to the modern taste is fashionable and cute.
Hanagaki Bun is
designed with the motif of a fence made of a tree with gentle red flowers that softens the dining table. The red of the flower of the fluffy and fuzzy taste is warm. The green color that the glaze reacts to also make you feel the warmth unique to handmade. In addition, the cracked pattern provides a deep taste.
The ball edge that blends in with the hand The thick ball edge that molds
the mouth edge roundly creates a gentle texture. By making it a ball edge, the strength of the skin increases, and when you hold it with your hand, your finger is caught, so it is a deep dish that is easy to hold and easy to use. The height is also high and wide and solid, so there is a sense of stability and you can use it without feeling good.
You can enjoy the expression of each movement Green that appears in response to the glaze, iron dots large and small that appear when the iron of the soil reacts at the time of firing, crack pattern through which you can make from the difference in the shrinkage rate of the bare ground and glaze after firing, the size of the pattern unique to hand drawing, shape, subtle differences such as mingl, etc., I feel the warmth and taste because of the hand
work one by one.

Iyo-gun, Ehime Prefecture and surrounding city towns. It began to be made in the mid-Edo period and has a history of about 240 years. In 1976, four types of white porcelain, dyed works, celadon, and tenma (iron glaze) were designated as national traditional crafts, and in 2005, they were designated as intangible cultural properties of Ehime Prefecture. There are about 100 potteries in and around Tobe Town, and the white porcelain is characterized by indigo patterns, thick and unsoinsable shapes, and the hardness of the material. In addition, karakusa bun is raised as a representative style as a typical design, and other natural sentences, Tokusa sentences, sun sentences, etc. are also traditional style. Today, tobe ware with a new design is born while inheriting traditional techniques and patterns.
