Celadon (Thailand)

セラドン焼

Celadon is the traditional and 700 years historic green porcelain made in northern Thailand (such as Chiang Mai) that has been one of three major ceramics in Thailand. It is a hard pottery baked at high temperature using only natural wood ash glaze, and is characterized by a fine adhesion (crack pattern) that enters under the glaze. There is a delicate image because it is characterized by gentle green like jade and a pattern-like ingress, but it has thickness and weight and can be made strongly. It goes well with any tableware and accents coordination.
